I work on the electrical energy storage project. I synthesize new redox-active organic molecules, characterize their electrochemical properties, and test them in flow cells.
Michael received his B. A. in Chemistry at Cornell University and his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry at MIT. Before commencing his postdoctoral studies he hiked 2668 miles from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. He enjoys being outdoors, preferably skiing, hiking, or fishing.
